She begins helping her friend Woo-jin in establishing a youth center but Woo-jin's estranged wife and a bitter Hyeob unite to make the pair miserable.

Sang-jin promises to marry Seong-ok when he returns from studying abroad, but he cannot locate his fiance upon his return. Instead, he marries Yun-kyeong. Several years later, a friend brings Sang-jin a 10 year old girl and claims that she is his and Seong-ok's daughter
